“Jessica is great at listening and encouraging a new perspective on areas I'm working through. She asks thought-provoking questions and shares from her heart. I feel empowered after our sessions to view my life with different eyes and examine my thoughts with intention. When I need to message her, she shares scripture for me to add to my toolbox to ground myself back in God's presence and shares from her heart. I am so happy I found her. ”

Getting to know Jessica Bennett

Hi. I am a middle-aged married mother of one grown and one smaller child. Our next anniversary will be 10 years for us. We were both married before finding each other, so there is a history of blending families with children. I am a Christian, and Jesus is the foundation of my life. "Through Christ, we can do all things." Philippians 4:13. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. I have experience in private practice settings and working in a community service board (CSB). I have led anger management groups and worked with clients ranging from childhood to the elderly. My work includes supporting those facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, ADHD, family conflicts, relationship difficulties, traumas, abuse, bipolar disorder (manic episodes), suicidal ideations, personal growth (career, etc.), and spiritual development. Life can be quite challenging. Many times we face situations for which we are unprepared or carry prior hurts that affect our ability to overcome. When we get into these places, it is easy to feel stuck or even blind to what is really going on. It is easy to shut down and isolate out of fear of what others may think. I enjoy providing a safe, warm, and caring environment to help you pull down any walls or barriers so you can face the situation head-on. Many past clients have shared how I helped them see things in a different light, enabling them to rise above challenges and grow during the process. "All things work together good for those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28. I look forward to meeting with you to help you grow stronger in who you are designed to be. You were created for a purpose, and I want to help you discover what that is while equipping you better for it.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She is open, inviting, easy to talk to, and challenges me with “homework” when I need a little extra in between sessions. I have an easy time talking about the tough stuff I need to address in order to heal.
Jessica is a God-send to me. She offers warm advice and helps you see your circumstance from different angles. She has helped me find a calm place and helped me sort through my anxious thoughts. I especially like that she comes at it from a Christian perspective for me, since I am a Christian believer. I highly recommend her and can’t thank her enough for all she has spoken into my life!
Jessica and I have similar lifestyles and backgrounds. It is so helpful to have a Christian therapist and woman who understands MY challenges and can help me get through them
She listens so well and will let me talk the entire session if I want too or need too. She’s kind, authentic, and always makes me feel good afterwards!
I have had a really great experience with Jessica so far! I had been feeling jaded about the possibility of therapy helping me, but in only a few weeks I have already been positively impacted by Jessica, and I look forward to continuing working with her!
She’s great & I’ve already recommended her to a friend! Very caring & literally helped me in our very First session. I’ve been going through an extremely stressful period in my life with a lot of life changes, challenges, as well as hurdles within my romantic relationship. I’m at the cusp of engagement & needed someone to talk to about relationship issues we were having, struggles of mine within that & fears of mine. She’s been extremely helpful to me & each time given me something to walk away with from our session. I wish I had found her sooner!
