My name is Jessica Coronel, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Ventura, CA. I offer services via video. I have worked in the child welfare system since 2016, gaining experience helping children and their families who are struggling with child abuse and neglect and navigating the foster care and adoption system. I believe strongly in giving children a voice and providing a safe space for them to express themselves. My great passion is to help clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole, and safe. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University. My approach is client- and family-centered, focusing on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to identify treatment priorities and create a strong therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents. I strive to create a calming environment that best suits each client’s needs.
