I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from The University of Alabama. My approach to therapy is client-centered, acknowledging and respecting my clients' expertise in their own lives. I use this expertise to provide insights and support that foster meaningful change. Fundamentally, I meet clients where they are. The most common approaches I use include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, internal family systems (IFS) therapy, and some cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I specialize in trauma but also enjoy working with other challenges such as anxiety and depression. I cultivate a safe, warm, compassionate, and validating space for healing and growth.
