Getting to know Jessica Flowers-Guerrero

Hi there, I'm Jessica! My name is Jessica Flowers-Guerrero, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I use a collaborative approach with my clients, providing a warm and nurturing space for growth to take place. My approach I cater to the individual needs of my clients and often use a variety of evidence-based treatment strategies. I find that techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can be especially helpful for real, sustainable, and positive change. My focus I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience assisting my clients in working through depression, anxiety, anger, perinatal mood disorders, infertility, substance abuse, behavioral issues, and trauma. My communication style I believe that in order for my clients to have space for growth, they need an environment that is trusting, non-judgmental, validating, and supportive. In working with me, you will feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to help you feel empowered to live the life you desire while achieving alignment, balance, and overall wellness.
