Hi there, I'm Jessica! I?m Jessica Griffin, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 15 years of experience as an educator. I hold a Master?s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. My background in education has given me a deep understanding of human development, communication, and the challenges people face throughout life?s transitions, particularly young adults navigating the shift into adulthood. In addition to my work with young adults, I specialize in supporting firefighters and their families in managing the unique stresses of their profession. I have attended the 2nd Alarm Project?s Clinician Awareness Program, where I gained firsthand insight into the struggles faced by frontline workers. I am also certified in Trauma Management Therapy through the University of Central Florida?s UCF Restores program and serve as a clinician with Redline Rescue, a network dedicated to supporting first responders. Having grown up as a military brat and coming from a family in the medical field, I bring personal insight into the pressures of service-driven careers. This background helps me better understand and support those who dedicate their lives to serving others. My approach I take an eclectic therapeutic approach, tailoring my methods to meet the unique needs of each client. By integrating various evidence-based techniques, I ensure that my work with young adults and first responders is flexible, personalized, and responsive to their individual challenges and goals. My focus I welcome the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and adolescents aged 13 and up. I specialize in working with clients with PTSD and ADHD, but also find success with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, and thinking disorders. My communication style My priority is to ensure that clients feel fully welcomed and know that our time together is dedicated to them.
