My approach While my foundation is in psychodynamic and solution-focused therapy, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), The Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Relapse Prevention Planning, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we’ll create a collaborative space where your goals lead the way, and your progress is always the priority. My focus I work with adults and couples who are navigating a variety of challenges, including mood disorders, interpersonal and relationship issues, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ identity-related mental health concerns. Whether you're struggling with communication, trust, or conflict resolution, or facing recurring relationship patterns, mood instability, or unresolved trauma, I offer a space to explore and understand what's standing in the way of the life you want to live. My ideal clients are motivated to make meaningful change but feel stuck when it comes to understanding the “why” and “how” of it. They are often self-aware enough to recognize that something isn't working, but need guidance in breaking through the blocks. My approach blends practical tools (CBT, DBT) with deeper insight work (EMDR, psychodynamic, trauma-informed care) to support clients in resolving issues within 6 months or less. I particularly enjoy working with individuals from marginalized communities, creating a safe and affirming space to unpack and heal from their experiences.
