Getting to know Jessica Martinez

I am passionate about providing quality mental health care to my clients by establishing a safe space that encourages vulnerability and authenticity. I deeply value what my clients share in therapy while focusing on attaining the goals set in treatment. I encourage and empower my clients to become self-aware, problem-solve, and utilize coping skills provided in therapy. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, drawing on my experience in juvenile probation, school counseling, and supporting individuals suffering from transgenerational trauma, difficulties with acculturation, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, self-esteem and self-worth issues, work-related challenges, relationship conflict, and divorce. I believe it is important to meet my clients where they are and provide a non-judgmental approach, collaboratively working together to achieve desired outcomes. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fresno Pacific University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively throughout their therapeutic journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After intake and development of treatment goals, I hope to provide guidance in therapy, teaching my client new tools to cope with their current symptoms and gain insight on how to challenge their negative thoughts and emotions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
