“I've been working with Jessica for about a year now and my experience with her has been excellent. She's been a tremendous help with some familial issues, managing with with undiagnosed ADHD and an invisible chronic illness, and now handling all of these things during pregnancy. She is very warm and open minded when discussing the difficulties I face on a day to day basis but helps me strategize ways to feel empowered by learning how to better advocate for myself and set boundaries.”

Getting to know Jessica Orndoff

Hello, I'm Jessica. Congratulations on taking this next step in your journey to becoming the best version of yourself! Starting therapy, whether it’s your first time or you’re trying a new way to connect with a therapist, can feel scary. I hope that learning more about me and my approach to therapy helps you feel more comfortable. I specialize in helping people heal from trauma, build resilience, and find balance. For the past twelve years, I have been practicing clinical social work as a therapist in private practice. I have worked with individuals of all ages, supporting those experiencing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, autism, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. I am non-judgmental, open, and deeply committed to the core social work values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, the importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. My hope is that you will feel comfortable sharing your story with me and that the therapeutic relationship we build will help you feel welcomed, safe, and understood. I wish you the very best on your journey and hope we have the opportunity to work together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is a collaborative process. We will start where you are; learning about you and what you hope to get out of therapy. We will identify your strengths and needs, and work together to set goals to help you get to where you want to be. You will learn new skills and strategies to manage the challenges you experience. A therapy session is your safe space to work on what you need, whether that be ongoing work related to your goals, or to process something that happened during your week. I am flexible and will always hold space for what you need each session. After working together for a while, you will have a toolkit of skills to use, and we may meet less frequently, as you are working to put what you have learned into practice.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
