Getting to know Jessica Sandler

Hi! I am a licensed outpatient mental health counselor with a community mental health background. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from UMass Boston and a Psychology degree from Connecticut College. I work with complex trauma using EMDR, and I support challenges associated with emerging adulthood, gaining independence, identity growth, and setting personal goals for growth. Additionally, I enjoy providing support to other mental health clinicians seeking services themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer one-on-one outpatient therapy using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), attachment-based therapy, and more. I view my work through trauma-informed and culturally-informed lenses.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer telehealth services and have flexible scheduling. Building rapport and a trusting therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance in order for treatment to be most effective. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and be a part of your journey towards growing and healing.
