Getting to know Jessica Sin

Are you noticing the incessant chatter in your mind? Do you worry about what other people think? Does your inner dialogue carry a lot of weight? Does it increase your anxiety and/or depression? Are you self-aware enough to notice your polarity or incongruency? Would you like to take back control of that incessant chatter and have it work for you? If so, you might be in the right place. I help individuals increase their awareness of their thought patterns and how these patterns impact their daily lives. Our minds tend to have a motor of their own, and they like to keep going and going. I'm here to help increase self-awareness and to help tame that chatter so it can work for you rather than against you. I hold a Master's in Counseling from National University, which equips me with the skills to support you on this journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our sessions may typically feel like a creative project of disentanglement…My approach is humanistic and person-centered which for me, means that I will move and flow with you as a witness; I will point out things I notice or stick out to me; I will provide you with some psychoeducation, along with some skills to practice. It will be a co-collaboration between us, exploring your thought process, exploring your anxiety, exploring your depression. Expect a lot of compassionate questioning and curious ponders from me to help increase your self-awareness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
