Welcome! I am Jessica Thomas, a dedicated psychotherapist specializing in women’s health. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. My practice focuses on supporting women through various life stages and challenges, including fertility issues, perinatal concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and life transitions.
With a compassionate and holistic approach, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My goal is to empower you to find balance and resilience in your life.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet your unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and change negative thought patterns, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to enhance your ability to manage stress, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma recovery. Additionally, I incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to improve emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
In addition to my professional work, I am passionate about nature and staying active. I believe in the healing power of the outdoors and the importance of physical well-being in mental health. When I’m not working, you can find me reading a good book or enjoying some reality TV for a bit of light-hearted fun.
