Getting to know Jessica Tomkowiak

Hello, my name is Jessica Tomkowiak, but I usually go by Jess. I have experience working with adolescents and adults. I've worked as a school therapist, college academic advisor, and resource counselor with active duty military members and reservists. For the past six years, I've assisted Navy and Marine reservists in finding resources that fit their mental health needs and other stressors. I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling from McKendree University. I really enjoy working with a variety of individuals and hearing everyone's story. We all struggle, but it's important to find someone who is willing to listen and provide support without judgment. I'm someone who will be there to listen and help you see things from a different angle. When we're able to see things from a new perspective, it helps us find better solutions to problems. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but to help you problem-solve and find what works best for you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
