My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming an LCSW started early in my social work career. I have always truly enjoyed the privilege of hearing others tell me their story. I have worked with seniors who were homebound and isolated, making me realize how important therapy is and how much it is needed to support those in the community. I continued my work in Child Welfare and supporting children and parents navigating a difficult system. I am an advocate for children and caregivers who have disabilities, as working through systems can be a challenge. I continued my clinical work in a hospital, working with a diverse population and navigating medical complexities.
