Getting to know Jillian Stevens

I have experience working with a variety of clients and hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I have specialized training in TFCBT, CPT, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, all of which focus on treating trauma and its resulting symptoms. I also enjoy helping people work through issues in their relationships, workplaces, and within themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy building a warm, trusting relationship with clients so that our time together feels safe and free from judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initially we will build rapport and trust while discussing goals and creating a treatment plan. You are the expert in YOU while I am here to support and facilitate growth and healing. After treatment planning is complete we will utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to address trauma, dysfunction, and any other issues we identify. The frequency and duration of our sessions is flexible depending on your schedule and treatment needs.
