If you've tried traditional therapy in an office setting or have been navigating therapy without seeing the results you desire, nature-based therapy might be the next step for you. You will enjoy the same high-quality, evidence-based treatment in a calming outdoor environment, surrounded by nature and animals. This approach can help reduce stress, promote emotional well-being, and foster deeper healing by reconnecting you with the natural world. Evidence-based + experience therapy in a setting that nurtures both mind and body—discover the transformative power of nature in your healing journey. I am a cognitive behaviorist and mind-body specialist. I also incorporate principles of Theraplay, which is a guided approach to enhance attachment and strengthen parent-child relationships. All sessions take place outdoors at a tranquil farm, allowing clients to experience the additional therapeutic benefits of nature and animals. When appropriate and with client consent, I incorporate equine interactions into the treatment process. Biofeedback may also be integrated into your treatment plan to support mind-body wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My expertise lies in working with children, teens, and adults struggling with general and social anxiety, life stressors, panic attacks, unresolved trauma, and challenges with obsessions and compulsions. My focus emphasizes the connection between mental and physical health using techniques that integrate mind and body to promote well-being. Some of these techniques include cognitive behavioral therapies, exposure response prevention therapy, mindfulness practices, interactions with horses, donkeys, and other farm animals, and the natural environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I see therapy as a partnership, where we work together to identify and prioritize goals that truly matter to you—whether it's improving relationships, boosting self-esteem, or any other personal aspiration. As we progress, your goals may shift as you gain new insights, and we can adjust our approach at any time to ensure it remains relevant and meaningful. My role is to offer you support and practical tools to help you move forward, even during difficult moments. Together, we’ll help you get closer to where you want to be.
