Getting to know Joanne Royer

Hi there, I'm Joanne! My belief is that we are all on a mental wellness journey at different junctures along the way. I create a space that provides you with focus, structure, and accountability. A space that is just your own, having a place to hear yourself talk through the thoughts in your head with someone on the other side who can help you challenge them and break the thought patterns that have kept you stuck. If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, then let’s get started. My approach I believe that we all know what we want for our life, the changes we want to make. My philosophy is based on the one thing I believe we have control over, and that is fundamental how we think about ourselves, someone else, a situation we want to step into. Generally, it's these thoughts that, over time, become habitual. We tend to believe them, and that's what keeps us stuck. In thinking over and over the way you do, you tend to "think" that your thoughts have control over you - why? because you come out over and over again thinking the same, and the result is receiving the same outcome. It's time to learn how you have control over your thoughts, not the other way around. My focus I help clients learn to normalize their challenges in a world and profession that often labels and pathologizes them quickly. I balance the ability to provide my clients with both a quiet space, allowing them time to think and discuss their thoughts together, with a collaborative and engaging environment that is involved, interactive, and action-oriented. I help women come up with options, possibilities, and opportunities where they haven't (yet) identified any. If any of the following sound familiar, I'm here to move you forward: Self-doubt and critical thinking. Work, Career, and/or Professional Burnout. Anxiety has become an all-too-familiar feeling. Women who are ready to learn how to have power over their thoughts vs.
