Getting to know Jocelyn Sterling

I am Jocelyn Sterling, a Florida state-licensed therapist with over 30 years of successful experience providing therapy to the children, teens, couples, and families of our communities, from Port Charlotte to Arcadia, Venice to Palmetto! I have a wealth of experience and training in treating a wide variety of issues from anxiety and depression to obsessive-compulsive disorder and marital discord, attention deficit, impulsivity, addiction, and grief issues. I use an eclectic combination of elements from therapies like cognitive behavior therapy, person-centered, active-listening therapy, gestalt, and mindfulness therapies to help clients find solutions to their problems. I am a graduate of the University of South Florida, and therapy chose me as a profession because I believe I have a calling to serve in this way. I have effectively provided telehealth remote therapy for over 2 years. I have lived in Sarasota for over 44 years, and am originally from Boston. I welcome all races and all genders.
