Getting to know Jodi M Prior

Life is hard. In this fast-paced world, we rarely take time to care for ourselves. We end up exhausted and unhappy, feeling alone in our struggles. If you’re reading this, it means you’re thinking of making a change, and I’m here to guide and support you. With over 28 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children, I provide a warm and nonjudgmental space to help clients tap into their strengths, understand and express their emotions, and accept and love themselves. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Phillips Graduate University. My style is collaborative and integrative, incorporating Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and solution-focused approaches to help clients make the changes needed to become who they have always wanted to be. The process of change begins with taking small steps. I invite you to take that first step—making an appointment to explore the possibilities of insight and change that lie ahead.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My hope is that during the time we spend together you feel of sense of validation, unconditional support, and are open to a realistic perspective, and collaboration. With this, you can can become more aware, and make the changes you need to become the better you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
