Getting to know Jodie Gonzalez
I believe that each stage of life is a transition and that every person struggles in this process. This can show itself through anxiety, depression, confusion, and more. This is why I choose an integrated approach in treatment. My love for treating the whole self has led me to use a multitude of sensory interventions, art, play, horticulture, and experiential therapies in my practice. I believe there is no one intervention or modality best suited for any single population; rather, each session is tailored to specific needs. I use a positive psychology approach that allows me to focus on the flourishing of human nature. I believe each person has an abundance of strengths, and I want to help you identify them. I love working with substance use and offender populations and enjoy seeing people expand their minds, come back to life, and start really living. My experience is primarily with high acuity clientele; therefore, I have knowledge and skills in almost every area. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota, which has further equipped me to provide comprehensive care.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
