What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer trauma-informed care, recognizing the impact of trauma on mental health and the importance of creating a safe space for healing. My therapeutic framework incorporates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping clients accept their thoughts and feelings while committing to meaningful actions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Addressing negative thought patterns to foster positive change. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Assisting clients in processing traumatic memories and reducing their emotional charge. This modality is also helpful in processing present and future anxieties. Internal Family Systems (IFS): Exploring the different parts of the self to promote inner harmony and healing. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Focusing on solutions and future goals rather than problems.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typical sessions with me are an hour long. The first session is considered an intake, where we will go over pertinent information about who you are, your background, current stressors, health history, etc. In subsequent sessions after intake, we will create a treatment plan that is individualized to you and your needs. We will work collaboratively throughout our time together to meet your goals and improve your quality of life.
