If you feel like you are carrying a lot on your own while appearing calm and capable on the outside, you are not alone. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, burnout, ADHD, chronic health concerns, or the pressure of holding everything together for others. I specialize in working with adults who want both deeper understanding and practical change. You may be looking to feel less overwhelmed, improve relationships, rebuild trust in yourself, or find steadiness in the midst of stress or health challenges. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based therapies and depth-oriented work to support healing in a way that feels grounded and respectful of your pace. This includes practical tools for coping alongside exploration of the patterns, experiences, and contexts that shape your life. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported while we work toward meaningful, sustainable change. I provide telehealth therapy for adults located in Illinois.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a calm, respectful space where you do not have to perform or have everything figured out. Many clients come in feeling exhausted from being in survival mode for a long time. We will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Our work focuses on both insight and action. We will explore what has shaped your experiences while also developing practical strategies you can use in daily life. I tailor therapy to your goals, strengths, and preferences rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I tend to be warm, direct, and attentive. I will ask thoughtful questions, offer reflections, and introduce tools when helpful, while respecting your autonomy. You always have a say in the direction of therapy. This is a collaborative process. Over time, many clients notice greater clarity, emotional steadiness, and a stronger sense of self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on understanding what brings you in and what you hope will change. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and your goals for therapy. You are never required to share more than you are ready to. After the initial session, we will develop a plan tailored to your needs. Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum, stability, and a strong therapeutic foundation. Over time, sessions may shift to every other week or less frequently as appropriate. Sessions typically involve a combination of conversation, reflection, skill building, and practical strategies you can apply between appointments. Depending on your goals, we may work on managing anxiety, navigating burnout, coping with chronic health conditions, improving relationships, or strengthening emotional regulation and self-trust. For clients living with chronic illness or ongoing health concerns, therapy can also include space to process medical experiences, uncertainty, identity changes, and the emotional impact of symptoms that others may not see. We will work toward a steadier, more compassionate relationship with your body and your life as it is now. My aim is to help you build understanding, resilience, and tools that support long-term change, not just short-term relief.
