I have accumulated over 20 years of experience providing individual counseling, family therapy, and marital counseling to adolescents and adults dealing with various concerns. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from National Louis University. During my career, I have worked with adults and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral issues. I have helped teens and their families recover from substance use and addiction issues. I have also worked with adults dealing with emotional and past traumas, as well as many forms of addiction and substance use concerns.
When someone starts therapy, I want them to feel safe and comfortable exploring personal issues they may have been hesitant to address before. Building rapport and being genuine allow me to use various therapeutic techniques in my toolbox, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, among others. These approaches help engage clients and guide them toward a happier and healthier life.
In my personal life, I enjoy the outdoors and like hiking, camping, and spending time with family. I also give back to the community by coaching a recreational community softball team.

My therapy appointments are done via video and I don't have any tech issues. As far ad my therapist himself, he is kind and helpful and has given me good advice. He is helping me with my issues and I couldn't ask for anyone better.
