Hi there, I'm John! John McQueen has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2007. He has worked with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness and has provided therapy to adults, children, adolescents, and families for approximately twenty-eight years. John holds a B.A. in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Arts from Webster University, and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. He has also worked in various administrative capacities with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and Devereux Behavioral Health-Georgia. My approach My approach to therapy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and an Eclectic Approach. My focus I have experience providing individual and family counseling to individuals aged 18-65 who suffer from various mental health issues. My communication style My communication style is very client-centered, and I have always wanted to assist individuals in their lifelong journey of mental health wellness.
