What should a new client know about working with you?

I hope that clients after their first session can take away a feeling of hope and relief that while the issues or feelings, they face won’t be solved instantaneously, there is hope that theirs a solution. I hope they can feel heard and seen and most importantly validated that they are not on this journey by themselves anymore. In the first session, there will be a good amount of background gathering so that I have an idea of where the journey for a client has started and what it has looked like in the recent past and present that has been the prompt to seek services. This can look like intentional questions, but it is also a conversational dialogue. After a certain amount of time, which is unspecified as everyone is different, I would hope that one would have created a toolbox to manage everyday stressors, increase positivity in relationships that one engages in daily, decrease trauma responses, and sees a decrease in adverse symptoms that one was initially experiencing upon entering services.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
