Getting to know Jonathan Medina

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in the field for over 5 years. When I'm not providing therapy, I enjoy a nice day on the BBQ or spending my time at one of my children's sporting events. My approach I like to set clear goals for myself and my clients and treat every session as an opportunity to make positive growth. I approach therapy with a variety of approaches and tools to individualize our work together to meet your needs in the best way possible. My focus I studied at the University of Southern California (Fight on Trojans!). I have been working as a therapist since 2019 both in Adult and Child levels. My experience includes Substance struggles, homelessness, life coaching, Intense residential treatment, and Gang Prevention. My experience grants me experience in working with individuals of all ages. My communication style I like to listen to my clients and allow them the time and space to process what they may be feeling. I also assign homework to ensure client work and growth continue between our sessions.
