I developed proficiency in client-centered care and focused listening as a hospice and hospital chaplain. With over a decade of experience, I thrive as part of a holistic integrative care team. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Lincoln Christian University, which has shaped my therapeutic approach. I aim to create a safe environment where individuals and couples feel comfortable sharing their concerns. I use client-centered therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities based on your needs. For example, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), effective for trauma and PTSD. I have also completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and apply Gottman principles in my work with relationships. My clinical interests include mental health disorders and life concerns such as relationship conflict, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, ADD, grief, sexual health, and anger management. I am passionate about working with couples, individuals aged 12 and older, LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC, and underserved communities. I am committed to working with you and your care team. I am Safe Zone® trained and an ally to LGBTQIA+ and Black/Brown communities. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my wife of 22 years and our three children. I am a Marvel/DC nerd, gym rat, and love nature.
