Psychotherapist
OH
Hi, I’m Jordan. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) offering telehealth therapy to adults across Ohio. I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just plain tired of holding everything together—often while looking “fine” on the outside. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or major life transitions. Others come in feeling burnt out by the mental load of work, relationships, caregiving, or motherhood. Therapy with me isn’t about checking boxes or talking at you from behind a clipboard—it’s about slowing things down, making sense of what’s happening, and figuring out what actually helps. My approach is grounded in evidence-based care, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, we work collaboratively, at your pace, focusing on both the deeper patterns and the day-to-day tools that make life feel more manageable. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear plan before starting. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure where to begin, that’s enough. Therapy can be a space to untangle what’s been weighing on you, without pressure to perform or explain everything perfectly. All sessions are provided via secure telehealth, making therapy accessible and flexible throughout Ohio. My goal is to create a space that feels grounded, supportive, and human—where you can show up as you are and start making meaningful, sustainable changes.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is meant to feel comfortable, collaborative, and human. I take a conversational approach to therapy and show up as a real person. Sessions are a space where you can think out loud, pause, laugh when it fits, and talk through things at your own pace. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Many clients come in feeling unsure of where to begin or worried about saying the “wrong” thing. That’s okay. We’ll take things step by step, focusing on what feels most important to you in the moment while keeping your larger goals in mind. I aim to balance insight with practicality. Alongside exploring patterns, emotions, and past experiences, we’ll also focus on tools you can use between sessions—especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or burnt out by the demands of daily life. I check in regularly to make sure therapy feels helpful and aligned with what you’re hoping to get out of it. I’m trauma-informed and mindful of how past experiences can show up in subtle ways, even when you’re functioning well on the surface. I also work with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, and life transitions, and I’m attentive to how stress, mental load, and expectations can pile up over time. Above all, I value creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you better understand yourself, build capacity, and make changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a shared understanding of what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’re hoping for, and any relevant background that helps give context. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is a starting point, not an expectation to tell your whole story. From there, sessions are guided by your goals and what feels most important week to week. Some sessions may focus more on processing emotions or past experiences, while others are more practical and skills-based. We’ll regularly check in about what’s working and adjust our focus as needed, rather than following a rigid plan. If we’re using approaches like EMDR or other trauma-focused work, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. I’ll explain what we’re doing and why, and we won’t move forward with anything without your consent and readiness. Therapy is not about pushing through—it’s about building capacity over time. Sessions are structured but flexible. You can expect a balance of conversation, reflection, and practical strategies, with space to slow down when needed. Over time, many clients notice increased clarity, improved coping, and a greater sense of steadiness in their daily lives. All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth. We’ll work together to create a process that feels supportive, effective, and aligned with your needs as they evolve.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Ongoing session: $150 for 50 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

I work with several major insurance plans through Headway, which manages insurance verification and claims processing on your behalf. Once you book, your insurance benefits will be confirmed prior to your first session so you have a clear understanding of any copay, coinsurance, or deductible responsibility. For clients using insurance, sessions are billed through Headway, and you are only responsible for the portion determined by your plan. Payments are collected securely after insurance is processed, and you are never charged more than your plan allows. For clients who are self-pay, the session rate is $150 per session. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have questions about coverage, Headway’s system will provide benefit details before sessions begin, and I’m always happy to help clarify what to expect from a therapy standpoint. My goal is to keep the financial side of therapy as straightforward and transparent as possible, so you can focus on the work itself.
