My name is Joe and I am a Clinical Social Worker. I've been working with individuals who are seeking to better their lives for a decade and I love my job. I am passionate about helping people and look forward to helping you in any way I can.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide what my patients need, whether that be long term or short term care. I approach therapy like training to run a marathon for your mental health. We will work together to discover your strengths and bolster your less strong points in order to ensure that your mental health is strong for the journey ahead of you. We will also work on areas of your life that have been unpleasant and reframe the way we look at and process negative emotions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session we will get to know each other. Sometimes two people just aren't a good fit for one another, and that's perfectly normal and healthy. I will ask you questions about yourself and what you hope to accomplish in therapy, while also being open to answering any questions you may have about therapy or about myself. Our goal during our first session is to get to know each other and establish a meaningful connection.
