I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. I work with adults and specialize in substance use disorders/addiction, as well as general conditions such as anxiety and depression. I utilize therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. I believe authenticity and connection are key in helping an individual heal. My approach I engage in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-based, Solution-focused, and Person-centered. My philosophy is that the client—you—are the expert of your own life, and I serve as an objective person using my knowledge, experience, and skills to help you live the life you want and deserve. My specialty lies in substance use disorders/addiction, which often includes challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, anger issues, and communication difficulties. I meet clients where they are, utilizing psychoeducation and talk therapy to help empower and heal. My communication style My style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want clients to feel comfortable talking about anything, and I pride myself on listening without judgment. I let the client lead the conversation, talking less while listening more. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help and be of service. I enjoy seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves.
