Getting to know Joseph Vandyck
I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I have worked with people suffering from depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and other disorders. I have a deep respect for each client's ability to access, cultivate, and utilize their own inherent wisdom in learning how to cope with their presenting symptoms.
My role as your therapist is to support you in your efforts to create and work toward feasible goals in this process. In my practice, I utilize elements of CBT, Solution-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy and emphasize the importance of cultivating compassion for oneself when working toward therapeutic goals.
