I believe that how we attach to our safe people and safe places from childhood affects how we are able to cope and regulate our emotional state in life throughout our lifespan. When people of any age feel as if they have a lack of stability and security in their lives, the ability to optimally function is inhibited, and people therefore cannot regulate themselves, and often benefit from working with professionals to re-regulate. I strive to help adolescents, couples, and families find safe people and places in their lives to build a secure base of trust, safety, and hope in healthy relationships with others. My experience is in Marriage and Family Counseling, Individual Outpatient Counseling, School Based Outpatient Counseling, Community Based Counseling, Therapeutic Day Treatment in schools (Elementary through High School) , and in Medically Assisted Treatment for Opioid Addiction.
