Sharing your story and asking for help can feel scary, and that's okay! Perhaps feelings of guilt or shame have made self-forgiveness challenging, or a difficulty staying motivated through a life transition has left you feeling out of control. Maybe unspoken expectations about how you "should" look or feel have left you exhausted and/or overwhelmed. Or possibly, you have felt stuck and held back by feelings of fear or anxiety. If so, I am here to listen, provide understanding, and empower you on your mental health journey. My approach You are unique, and so are your therapy needs. For this reason, I use an eclectic therapy approach, tailored to meet your individual therapy goals. While I embrace various therapeutic modalities, I often gravitate towards narrative therapy as it focuses on the underlying issues separating them from our sense of self. Together, we will untangle your existing narrative to identify obstacles that may have hindered your personal growth, so we can begin building a new self-narrative that feels empowering and tailored to your specific aspirations and well-being. My focus I specialize in working with women facing depression, shame, anxiety, ADHD, and insecurity. Additionally, I have extensive experience helping individuals deal with religious shame and related emotional issues. I believe in the power of vulnerability and the courage it takes to ask for help. My communication style My communication style is open, warm, and empathetic, creating a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Through active listening and collaborative reflection, I aim to partner with you as you choose to rewrite your self-narrative. My hope is that our sessions provide you with a sense of belonging and purpose as you share your unique story My journey to mental healthcare I've always been passionate about story, particularly those where people choose to fight for better within their own lives.
