“Josh is simply amazing! He introduced me to IFS, and in just a few sessions I feel like I've made more progress than I have in years. In addition to the therapy sessions, he provides me with great resources and tools to manage what I have going on and I get the sense that he is genuinely interested in helping me achieve success.”

Getting to know Josh Ellis
Through connection, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach, I offer ways to help you discover what may be blocking you from finding your true path in life. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or external factors, I am dedicated to helping you uncover the root causes of your challenges and learn how to process them effectively.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples from all backgrounds and am open to any culture, belief, identification, or orientation. All are welcome. My approach to therapy is client-focused, and I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every individual.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide, Los Alamitos, and a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide a safe space for anyone who is looking to improve their lives, build better relationships with family, friends or partners and learn to let go of the things that are holding you back from your goals. I am not an expert who 'fixes' people, rather, I'm someone who helps clients tap into the strenghts they already possess and may not know how to access them.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
