I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Walden University, passionate about helping clients gain the tools to face life's challenges and achieve inner peace. My approach I work from a holistic, strengths-based, and self-care perspective. I collaborate closely with my clients, empowering and assisting them to overcome mental health challenges. My focus I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and the elderly. I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem issues, grief, and adjustment disorders. My communication style I create a safe, calm, and pleasant environment where clients feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable. My journey to mental healthcare I come from a country where mental health is often taboo, despite many people facing severe challenges. In Liberia, the long-lasting civil war left many with trauma, yet resources and open conversations about mental health are scarce. Witnessing this inspired me to become a licensed clinical social worker. I strive to be the change I wish to see in my country and community. I enjoy helping others overcome challenges that impact their emotional well-being because we all deserve to live a life full of joy, peace, and happiness.
