Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Joyce! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I focus on working together with my clients to find a path where they can better navigate through life. I believe the key to successful and effective therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. My goal is to provide you with a safe and trusted space where we can explore your feelings and thoughts in a judgment-free environment. It is my hope to help you find skills and coping tools to relieve your anxiety, stress, and pain so you can grow and develop. My approach Using techniques from psychotherapy to cognitive behavioral therapy, my clients have been able to use their own strengths to achieve their goals and move on from therapy. I have extensive experience in anxiety, relationship conflicts, depression, life transitions, grief, bereavement, stress, and end-of-life issues. My focus I am often drawn to working with individuals dealing with anxiety and depression stemming from family and relationship conflicts. I also work closely with many Asian Americans who may be struggling with cultural conflicts and unrealistic expectations. My communication style My style of communication is casual and friendly. I hope to make clients feel comfortable and safe in a way that allows them to be candid and open as they explore ways of self-improvement. The use of active listening and reflection helps create a strong rapport with my clients.
