Joyelle Hines, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi, my name is Joyelle Hines. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling from Argosy University, Atlanta, and have been a therapist for over ten years. My therapy style is compassionate but direct and honest. My approach I practice cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and reality therapy. I treat each person as an individual with unique needs. Currently, I am only working in the evenings to accommodate after-hour clientele. My focus I am experienced in supporting individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, and HIV/AIDS. Additionally, I work with clients facing addictions, career challenges, depression, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and bipolar disorder. I also have knowledgeable experience working with the working poor. Having grown and worked with the application process for social security disabilities and a wide range of community services, I bring valuable insight. Years of experience as a case manager allowed me to connect with many agencies across different realms. I believe in a holistic approach-it can take a village to assist clientele. My communication style My communication style is open and honest. I am compassionate and enjoy helping others. I believe our sessions are opportunities to explore different ways of working through various situations until we find solutions that are workable for my clients. My job is to offer full support. My journey to therapy I worked for years as a case manager providing services to underserved populations. I have an extensive background working with the LGBTQ+ community, homeless, incarcerated, HIV/AIDS, and severely mentally ill populations. What drives me as a therapist is knowing I can be the one person who offers compassion, a listening ear, no judgment, and unconditional support. I strive to let my clients know that no matter what is happening in their lives, they are not alone.
