Psychotherapist

"Change at any stage in life can cause a whirlwind of emotions—such as excitement, joy, relief and hope; but also worry, fear, concern and uncertainty. The change can be a new job, a new school, a new relationship, a new city, a new identity or a new experience. Therapy is a place that can help you navigate these changes—including the unanticipated stressors, challenges and adversities that you may experience along the way. Therapy is an opportunity that will empower you and mobilize you to reach your goals, dreams and aspirations; and lead you on a path towards a purposeful and meaningful life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; and my goal is to help you identify your strengths, goals and abilities—and teach you the skills that you need to adjust to the unforeseeable circumstances that life may bring to you. For the last 7 years, I have served multicultural and diverse populations, of all ages, in a variety of settings—including K-12 institutions, forensic mental health, integrated health, inpatient psychiatric care and hospital emergency care. My leadership style is deeply rooted on that values and ethics of the social work practice; and I intend to provide you with a safe, supportive, welcoming and nurturing environment. "

What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize a unique set of engagement, assessment and intervention strategies that can help identify and address the various needs, challenges and barriers that my clients possess. I intend to guide my clients into a journey of self-reflection, self-exploration and self-realization—while establishing a sense of trust, connection and healing in the therapeutic relationship. Under my care, clients will understand their right to self-determination; and understand their power and efficacy regarding treatment expectations and outcomes. My clients will participate in a series of sessions that will maximize their strengths, skills and abilities; and prepare them to become resilient, determined and successful leaders who are productive, humane and responsive to society.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
