Hi there, I'm Judith! My name is Judith Sorto, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients make positive changes and live a more fulfilling life. My approach My approach is tailored to the needs of each individual. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients navigate life stressors, identify and reframe negative and unhelpful thoughts, and make positive changes. My focus I enjoy working with teens and adults of all ages who are dealing with life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I collaborate with clients to help them navigate challenging times, achieve positive growth, and develop healthy relationships and coping skills. My communication style My communication style is calm, supportive, and respectful. I want my clients to feel safe and comfortable during sessions. I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental space where each individual feels welcomed and supported. My journey to therapy I decided to become a therapist because I enjoy helping people.
