Getting to know Julia Davis

Your Well-Being Is in Good Hands! As a committed, professional Mental Health Service Provider with 5 years of experience and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University, your well-being and mental strength are my number one priority. I'm happy to guide you through all of life's challenges with the attention and care you deserve. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, depression, schizophrenia, grief, trauma, PTSD, HIV, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and personality disorders. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My experience includes working with diverse populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals living with HIV, the homeless, those with intellectual disabilities, and people involved in prison and jail systems. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix; therapy is a healing process that requires participation and investment from both the patient and caretaker. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
