Psychotherapist

If you're feeling overwhelmed by life, caught in cycles of stress or negative thoughts, and longing for a deeper sense of self-compassion, I’m here to help. I support clients in learning how to move through difficult emotions, shift limiting narratives, and reconnect with their inner resilience so they can build confidence and thrive. My approach I work with clients to identify patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are keeping them stuck in pain. Then build skills with self-compassion, parts-work, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation so that they can rewire their brain, body, and life to replace old patterns with new, life-giving ones. My focus I specialize in working with people who are neurodivergent or navigating trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, burnout, or chronic pain/illness. I teach clients skills for emotional awareness and regulation, daily practices for caring for your nervous system, and ways to challenge and replace thinking that is causing you distress and pain. My communication style My style is warm, intuitive, and collaborative. I'm honest and will challenge you when needed, but it will always be done with compassion, respect, and probably a little humor. I'm also always going to notice and praise your successes, so that you can learn to identify them and learn to do this yourself. My journey to mental healthcare I struggled as a teen and began therapy at 16. Working with my therapist was life-changing and sparked a clear thought: I want to help people like this. That experience led me to study psychology and counseling. I believe everyone deserves skills to understand stress and distress, and support that helps them feel less alone. My goals for you We will collaborate on goals. Mostly, you'll explain what your goals are, and we'll identify what is keeping you from them as I hear what is going on in your life and reflect back what I'm hearing, and explore with you what might be causing the problems.
