My approach My approach is compassion-centered, practicing an acceptance of our messiest selves without judgment. I view sessions through a strengths-based lens, encouraging clients to feel empowered to be their most authentic selves. I often find that challenges in relationships can stem from inner child wounds, and together we will explore and uncover past hurt that may be impacting your present self. My focus My speciality is helping clients work through shame, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people pleasing tendencies. Together we will explore fears of rejection, challenging negative thinking patterns, and the complexity of simultaneously feeling not enough, yet too much for others. My communication style My communication style is direct, yet soft. Therapy can be utilized as a safe space for clients to practice healthy boundaries and feel empowered to communicate their needs. While I do spend a good amount of time getting to know you during our first session, I am also interested in slowing down to hear how you are feeling, beginning this new journey.
