The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Shannon Nosenzo-Goodman. I work with children, teens and young adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, identity development, relationship challenges, school-related behavioral issues, and the transition to living away from home for the first time. My areas of focus include helping young people develop effective coping strategies, resiliency, healthy help-seeking behaviors, and stress management skills, especially during academic pressure or school transitions. I also support those experiencing technology overuse and screen or gaming addiction. Throughout the process, I encourage self-awareness, strengths-based decision-making, healthy relationships, and practical tools that support long-term emotional well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is attachment-based and humanistic, with an emphasis on building a strong, trusting relationship. I work collaboratively with you to better understand your emotions, relationships, and patterns while creating a space where you can show up authentically. I also incorporate CBT and ACT techniques to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and respond to difficult emotions with greater flexibility and self-compassion.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I want young people to feel comfortable and supported in the therapy process, especially when it’s their first time. Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or intimidating, so I focus on creating a relaxed, positive experience where clients feel heard and understood. My goal is to help therapy feel approachable and useful, not something to fear or avoid. I hope you leave sessions feeling more confident, supported, and open to using therapy as a resource throughout different stages of life.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $120 for 55 minutes
Ongoing session: $80-120 for 55 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I work with a 3rd party biller to submit to insurance and process claims. Copays and deductibles will only be charged after the claim has been processed and the amount due is clearly stated by the insurance company. I keep a credit card on file to swipe once the evidence of benefits is received and the amount due is clearly stated. I am also happy to have my biller send an invoice and she will process your credit card manually. I can also process a check or cash.
