Hi there, I'm Julianne! Feeling overwhelmed or in need of support? I'm here to help clients process anxiety, depression, and trauma through empathy and encouragement. My goal is to help you feel heard so that you can make changes and become better equipped to deal with life's challenges. My focus I work with teens and adults navigating challenges due to pregnancy and postpartum, anxiety, depression, and trauma. We will work together to build coping skills and make a plan to achieve your goals. My approach I use elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My approach is collaborative, giving you the tools to set and achieve goals and be an active participant in our work together. I also incorporate elements of other therapies to find what works best for each individual. My communication style My goal is to provide a safe space for you to share your thoughts and process your emotions without a fear of judgment. I practice active listening and empathy and will challenge you to reflect on your experiences. If we’re discussing something difficult, I will patiently and calmly provide you with the tools you will need to cope. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist began with a desire to be a support for those who are hurting and to help them find peace. My own life experiences have driven me to want to support others who are going through the transition to parenthood and the chalIenges it brings. I am motivated by the belief that everyone needs someone to walk beside them. My goals for you My intention is to partner with you as your therapist to set goals that are important for you - whether that’s finding peace and joy, adjusting to life changes, or improving yourself. As you grow and change, we will update your goals so that you are always moving toward where you want to be.
