Getting to know Julianne Ybarra

Hello, I am Julie. We often do the best we can with what we are given, and I am here to help improve daily practices, routines, and maintain a life worth living. I help clients who struggle with Acute and Chronic Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety disorders, and Depressive disorders. I am trained in utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield. Although I have training in specific therapy modalities, I take time to incorporate client goals and address the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I am excited to begin working with individuals on their journey to self-exploration and healing. "What we don't need in the midst of struggle is shame for being human." - Bren? Brown

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I've felt and seen a change in myself since seeing Julianne. Wonderful personality, and honestly grateful to have found her.
Julie was such a blessing to have as a therapist. She is highly intelligent and just a naturally warm, understanding professional. A literal dream for those of us that have a hard time connecting with others. 10/10.
She makes me think about certain situations differently which makes me put it in a different perspective. Where it does sometimes help me not worry so much about.
First therapist I’ve had who listens to my goals and works to meet them instead of working around them. She is simultaneously patient and courteous while maintaining efficiency and integrity to her approach and session structure.
Therapy has been wonderful. Julianne has been very helpful and made therapy something easy for me to do which I struggled to want to do in the first place.
