OH
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Sandusky, Ohio, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree from Liberty University. I work with all ages and specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help my clients make progress and start feeling better. My approach to therapy is client-centered and integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices and tailored techniques to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. I am passionate about working with couples to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges such as infidelity. In addition to my work with couples, I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults facing a range of issues, including self-esteem struggles, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, anxiety, career difficulties, substance use, pregnancy and parenting challenges, anger management, intimate partner violence, and trauma related to sexual, emotional, or physical abuse. My communication style is down-to-earth, compassionate, and engaging, combining warmth with a genuine, interactive approach. I value honesty and an open mind and am committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, understanding environment where people feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings openly. My passion for mental health is deeply rooted in my personal experiences. Having faced my own mental health challenges and traumas, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate, seek help, and work toward healing. These experiences have shaped my belief that the struggles we face are often temporary, and with the right support, growth and transformation are possible.
