Getting to know Julie Warren

EVENING/NIGHT (6pm-9pm) appointments only and SATURDAY (by request) appointments available! If you do not see a date/time slot that works with your schedule, send me a message through the Grow Therapy portal, and together we will find a time that works for both of us. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. I work virtually through HIPAA-compliant platforms and believe therapy is grounded in the relationship between therapist and client. With over 15 years of experience, I believe your mental health is just as—if not more—important than your physical health. I strive to help clients adapt to the stressors that come with everyday life. I assist clients in setting and achieving goals by helping them understand what drives their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and implementing changes as needed.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have worked with individuals struggling with severe mental illness, substance use/alcohol use disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings, trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, incarceration, life transition (college students) and domestic violence. I will help you find your areas of strength and work to challenge negative thinking patterns.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
