I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, and my Bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge. I work with adults and specialize in stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, and parenting challenges. I modify my approach based on clients' needs so they can progress and gain skills to feel better. My approach varies depending on the client's needs. I utilize a strengths-based approach to build upon each individual's skills, helping clients build confidence and success, providing a clear path forward in treatment. I have found my style fits adults struggling with daily stressors, parenting challenges, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. I help clients build personal strengths, coping skills, and interventions to overcome daily struggles. My communication style is supportive, nurturing, and encouraging. I want clients to feel comfortable and safe talking with me about anything. I tend to be energetic and often use humor. Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to work with people. Becoming a therapist allowed me to use my supportive, encouraging, and nurturing strengths to help others. I am also following in my mom's footsteps, who is an LCSW. My approach to goal setting starts where the client is and involves working together to identify goals. It is important that goals are client-centered and based on individual needs. In our first session, we will spend most of the time discussing what brings you to treatment and getting to know your unique situation.
