Psychotherapist
2312 Wilton Dr, Wilton Manors, FL
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults and couples navigate some of the most personal and difficult challenges in their lives—whether related to anxiety, depression, substance use, sex and porn addiction, relationship issues, or identity exploration. I work extensively with LGBTQ+ individuals, men’s mental health, and clients who are exploring open or poly relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused work, and sex-therapy–informed care. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you can talk openly about the things you may not share anywhere else—without judgment, shame, or pressure. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, overwhelmed by stress, or unsure how to rebuild trust or intimacy in their relationships. My role is to help you slow things down, understand your thoughts and behaviors on a deeper level, and support you in making meaningful, sustainable changes. Whether you’re working through unwanted sexual behaviors, coping with a breakup or betrayal, managing overwhelming emotions, or wanting to build healthier communication with a partner, I bring a compassionate and direct style to help you reach your goals. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships you want.

Getting to know Justin Gladney

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients describe me as grounding, easy to talk to, and someone who brings clarity without judgment. I’m both compassionate and direct—I will support you, but I will also gently challenge patterns that are getting in your way. My goal is to help you understand why you do what you do so you can make choices that align with who you want to be. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. You can expect sessions that are open, honest, and tailored to your pace and comfort level. I’ll help guide the conversation, but I also encourage you to bring whatever feels most important each week. Because many of my clients struggle with sex/porn addiction, men’s issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, and relationship challenges, I approach these topics from a place of openness and specialization—never shame or discomfort. You don’t need to censor yourself. Nothing is “too much” or “too messy” for therapy. You can also expect transparency. I explain what I’m doing and why, so you’re always part of the process. I work best with clients who are ready to explore their patterns, willing to reflect, and open to trying new skills inside and outside of session. Overall, my goal is simple: help you feel seen, supported, and equipped to create meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with a thorough assessment where we explore your history, current concerns, patterns, and goals. I take time to understand the full picture—your emotional experiences, relationships, habits, and the stressors impacting your life. This helps us build a personalized treatment plan that actually fits you, not a one-size-fits-all model. Sessions typically blend exploration and practical tools. We may look at how your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships interact; identify triggers; build insight; develop coping skills; and practice healthier communication. I frequently use CBT, attachment-based approaches, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and sex-therapy–informed interventions. If you’re working through sex or porn addiction, we will explore the cycle of behaviors, underlying emotional needs, shame patterns, and strategies to regain control and build healthier intimacy. If you're coming in for couples or relationship work, we focus on communication patterns, conflict cycles, rebuilding trust, and strengthening connection using research-supported approaches. For clients with anxiety, depression, or substance use concerns, we focus on skill building, restructuring unhelpful thinking patterns, stabilizing emotions, and improving daily functioning. Throughout treatment, I regularly check in about your progress, adjusting our work as your needs evolve. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build healthier patterns, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
