Getting to know Justin Marx
Justin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. He does not provide medication. He received his Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. Justin began his training in substance abuse and trauma survivors' treatment centers before moving into private practice.
Justin believes in the importance of finding our best life. This is not just adapting to life but finding the life that fits us-who we are and what we want. Too often, people are conflicted within themselves, setting goals and then self-sabotaging them. Only by being in touch with all of who we are, the good and the bad, can we move forward and be at peace with ourselves.

I started seeing Justin for about two years now. From our first session, I knew it was gonna work out. He started off as my marriage counselor and later on I went to do individual sessions. He has always helped me with what I needed, when I needed it. He stood as a mediator and further educated my husband and I on ways to better communicate and see things from the others perspective. While we "could have done that ourselves", we really couldn't and didn't without Justin. My husband and I had been together for 8 years and it was not without struggle. I felt our relationship started strengthening and we learned more things about each other and with ourselves. In my personal journey with Justin I learned a lot about reflecting, re-evaluating, and removing things that were no longer beneficial for my life. He has listened and guided me through healing from child/adulthood trauma. I have recommended him to family and friends, and 1000% would recommend him to strangers.

Justin has helped me with a great deal of things, and I would highly recommend him. He really cares about his clients, and it shows. Justin is helping me build the best version of myself, and I am so grateful I found him! Would give him 6 stars if I could!

This is my first experience with therapy and has been a very positive life experience for me. Justin does not tell me what to do in situations. Instead, he offers different points of view and uses different expressions to help me understand. I feel like he really listens, and cares. Justin is soft spoken. His office is warm and feels comfortable. He does not make you feel rushed for time while you're talking. Overall, I would highly recommend him.

I was comfortable the entire time and the therapist was very mellow and a great listener. I think it was a great first couple steps and start. Looking forward to more sessions and progress towards my goals
