My name is Justine Adelman, LMFT, and I want you to know that you are not alone. Whether you or your family member is struggling with anxiety, trauma, child-parent relational issues, anger management, behavior challenges, parenting struggles, grief/loss, autism, ADHD, OCD, or postpartum depression, to name a few, we are in this together. My passion is helping children, adolescents, and families. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and I would love to be part of your village. I use a family-systems approach to help you and your child work together to improve communication. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Play Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Parenting Practices, and Infant Massage. I enjoy supporting people by building on their own strengths. I earned my Master of Science degree from California State University, Los Angeles, with a double major in Marriage and Family Therapy and School Counseling. I have worked in elementary, middle, and high school settings, non-profit mental health clinics, and residential treatment centers. I have experience working with children as young as a few days old, as well as teenagers and parents. I would love to work together to support you and your family, too.
